Rise Of The Tomb Raider Cutscenes are 900p, Gameplay is 1080p
Rise of the Tomb Raider is about a week away from release and since yesterday, some new gameplay videos have started to appear over the internet showcasing 30 minutes of gameplay from Lara Croft’s latest adventure.
The videos aren’t very spoiler-y and take place in the Soviet Installation location from the game, the fact that they still haven’t been taken down or the live streams where they were first shown appears to be a sign that these video uploaders have Crystal Dynamic’s blessings to share content.
Gamersdye, during their stream confirmed the game to be running at 1080p while there was some sort of disparity regarding the cutscenes. However, they have now confirmed that while the gameplay itself is at 1080p, the cutscenes are shown at 900p which could be the cause of a sudden quality shift some people might have noticed.
The hour long stream from Gamersdye in all its 1080p glory can be seen and downloaded from here.
