Nvidia Release Game Ready Drivers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is only days away and for PC players eager to play the announcement of video drivers optimised for the game is always good news. Today Nvidia have released their drivers ready for the release.
As is usual with the release of their Geforce Game Ready drivers they release patch notes, which you can view here:
“The new GeForce Game Ready 358.87 WHQL drivers for Call of Duty: Black Ops III are now available to download from GeForce Experience and GeForce.com. With Game Ready optimizations for Treyarch’s highly-anticipated fast-paced first-person shooter, our new drivers will give you the best possible experience when battling foes and capturing gameplay footage with GeForce Experience and ShadowPlay.
With GeForce Experience you’ll also receive 60 FPS Optimal Playable Settings for Black Ops III, and be able to record and stream gameplay with ShadowPlay.”
The drivers are also optimised for Anno 2205, and the new War Thunder Patch with GameWorks.
Along with the drivers the patch notes also mention the downloading of Optimal Playable Settings for Black Ops 3. These are used by the GeForce Experience software to analyse your computer and to load the best settings for your computer. While these manage to get the best FPS from your setup it’s often better to experiment with the settings yourself to find the balance between performance and graphics quality that suits you.
Once these drivers are installed hopefully the game won’t have any problems running on your computer. We’ll have to see what issues (if any) are found when the game releases at the end of the week. Based on the performance of the beta though things should run fairly stable.
