Watch 30 Minutes of New Rise of the Tomb Raider Gameplay Here
Most of the focus may be on the upcoming releases of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Fallout 4 at the moment, but Xbox console owners will also be looking forward to Rise of the Tomb Raider. As the release comes close people are releasing gameplay footage showing what you can expect from the game.
While we’ve seen some of this footage before, now we are seeing less experienced people play the game, showing mistakes made and also interesting revealing just how much they can show of the game. We can’t see the start of the game yet, and story elements (like cut scenes) can’t be shown.
Though there aren’t any story elements here, I’m still going to post a spoiler warning as seeing any part of the game could reveal things you don’t want to see yet. If you are willing to risk that, then watch the video.
The video shared here is by Arekkz Gaming and he focuses on side missions and exploring the map. The area of the game where this footage takes place is the Soviet Installation mission. What is nice to see is the fact that Crystal Dynamics understand what worked well in the first game and have built on that.
What is evident in the Soviet Installation is also the style of gameplay it pushes the player to use. With the number of enemies and their placements, this is an area that requires a lot of stealth to take out most of the soldiers to make the level easier to handle.
Are you impressed with what you see? Will you be buying Rise of the Tomb Raider for Xbox One or Xbox 360? Let us know your thoughts on the gameplay footage below.
