While it is a fact that the sales statistics revealed for Halo 5 Guardians suggest that the game is being regarded as a more niche specific title instead of a general best seller that everyone buys, it is also a fact that it has still managed to outdo James Bond.

Seriously, the day one revenue generated by James Bond’s latest Spectre was recorded at £6.3 million which is a fair £1.4 million less than what 343 Industries’ top seller achieved.

Halo 5 Guardians managed to sell copies worth £7.7 million in the United Kingdom on the opening day and that is saying a lot since Spectre was one of the most anticipated films.

That being said, these are just the sales figures from United Kingdom and there are much larger markets other than that. We suggest you check back later for a more detailed account of how the game has fared in other territories.

So far Microsoft has not shared any details regarding sales of Halo 5 Guardians in the US.
