Need for Speed

Need for Speed is close to release on consoles and next year on PC. EA is trying to bring back the magic in Need for Speed but it seems they won’t be able to do much for the game’s resolution, at least on Xbox One.

According to a new report by NX Gamer (via Videogamer), the Xbox One version of the game will run at 900p. The report comes right after the release of the game on EA Access. The game manages to hit the targeted 30Fps but it dips due to streaming issues with the engine.

The frame rate dips to 25 and even 23 at certain points. Need for Speed on Xbox One is set to release later this month alongside its PS4 counterpart. We don’t yet know if the game will suffer from similar issues on PS4 or not. reviews are yet to come in, so we’ll know more in the coming days.

Of course,  EA may fix issues with post-release updates for Need for Speed.
