Halo 5: Guardians Warzone March on Stormbreak Guide – Objectives, Tips and Strategy
Halo 5: Guardians ‘March on Stormbreak’ Warzone Mode strategy guide with tips and tricks to help you net maximum VP and secure an easy win.
Halo 5: Guardians Warzone March on Stormbreak Tips
March on Stormbreak is one of the Warzone maps in the game. It revolves around East Armory, West Armory, and a central Fortress.
This guide details everything you need to know about March on Stormbreak along with key locations and other useful information:
After the match starts, head to the center of the map and control the Fortress. You should capture the Home Base, push towards the Fortress, and even try to contest for the Armory.
To win, you need to control at least one Armory near the Home Base and the Fortress. The latter is important because it houses the first Legendary Boss; 150 VP for your team.
In case you are unable to gain hold of the Fortress, push towards both the Armories and try capturing them both in order to score a win. In this way, you will have good chances of securing a win, but do not neglect the importance of bosses.
The red team should waste no time in capturing this base before pushing to the Fortress. However, there is no need for the entire fireteam to head in as only a couple of soldiers ought to suffice.
In order to contest the base, you can either go guns blazing from the ground-level doorways or make a sneaky entrance from the rooftop. If you choose the rooftop, toss some grenades from the hatch before dropping down.
Rooftop of the Armory provides excellent position to engage nearby boss, its minions, and even a clear view of the Frozen Cave. Moreover, you can also capture the base from the lower-level of the rooftop. However, do note that there is not much cover available on this area.
This is the base that you need to fight for in the game. The Fortress not only houses the first Legendary Boss, but also a vehicle spawn point which is why it should be captured through the very end of the game.
Another reason to capture the Fortress is access to the Cargo Deck – the area where Captain Wamik, Knight Bannerman, and the Wraith Officer spawn.
While trying to capture the Fortress, do note that you need not kill Commander Lochagos in order to capture the base. You should save Commander Lochagos for later once your team has captured the base successfully.
In order to head inside the base, you should consider entrances available on the upper-level of the base; East Balcony, West Balcony, or Fortress Deck.
Opposite to the West Armory, this one is located near the blue team. Once secured the Home Base, head over to the East Armory.
Similar to the West Armory, there is no need to head inside with your entire fireteam as only a couple of soldiers should suffice. The rest of the team should push forward and try to capture the Fortress.
The base can be captured both from the rooftop and the ground-level doorways. In case you decide to opt for doorways, toss in a few grenades before moving in guns blazing.
When it comes to defending the base, there is some decent cover available inside, but you can also do so from the rooftop of the base. Other than this, the rooftop of the base can also be used to engage the Knight Luminary and its minions spawning in the Ice Cavern.
Finally, when it comes to contesting the base, you should not head in from the ground-level doorways, and use the side-area to access the rooftop from where you should be able to toss in a few grenades and drop down.
