Remember how when Xbox One titles ran at 900p and it was such a big issue? Apparently, the PlayStation 4 is not doing much better with at least some of their games, games like Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End.

The PlayStation press conference for Paris Games Week revealed the game’s multiplayer with a trailer and that is when it was confirmed that only the singleplayer campaign mode of the game is going to be able to reach 1080p at 30fps.

On the flipside, the Uncharted 4 multiplayer will manage to reach 60fps although the resolution will drop to 900p.

Moreover, a couple of features that the multiplayer is going to introduce were highlighted by Naughty Dog like Mysticals, Sidekicks and Grappling Hook. Here’s what they had to say about them:

  • Sidekicks: When you are in a pinch you can call in your friendly Sidekick to help you. These are unique, AI controlled characters that come equipped with unique abilities that can help turn the tide of a battle.
  • Mysticals: These are supernatural abilities from the Uncharted series that give a player unique powers. See if you can recognize what Mystical abilities we are showing off in the trailer.
  • Grappling Hook: Last, you will be able to leverage the grappling hook in a number of locations in our multiplayer maps. We have also heavily leveraged this exciting mechanic for our melee. Yes, you will be able to land on people and take them out –would you expect less?

All this is good, but tell us are you content with the 900p 60FPS that Naughty Dog is targeting for Uncharted 4 Multiplayer?
