Over the past few years VR technology has grown to new heights, many companies like Sony, Samsung, Oculus and others are diving into with the aim of grabbing as much market share as they can.

The war will begin in 2016 when Oculus, PlayStation VR and other VR devices start to roll out.

However, fans who couldn’t wait till 2016 were given the option to grab the development kit of Oculus Rift to enjoy VR little early. Unfortunately, that option is no longer available to fans. The development Kit 3 for Oculus Rift is no longer available as it is sold out completely.

The final retail version will ship is the first quarter of 2016, so if you don’t already own Oculus Rift DK2 you’ll have to wait till 2016 to jump into the VR experience.

PlayStation VR aka Project Morpheus is expected to hit retail during the same time as well, so buyers more than one VR option to go for.
