Developer 343i has given hope to the PC community about seeing Halo 5 on PC. Speaking about the game during a Twitch Stream, Halo 5: Guardians director Frank O’Connor made a very interesting statement.

According to him, Halo 5 on PC is very much possible but they don’t have anything to announce yet. However, it is not out of the bounds of reason.

If that happens, internet will surely break.

There’s plenty of chance that Halo 5 could appear on the PC. Nothing to announce at this point, but it’s absolutely not out of the bounds of reason.

There are Halo games on PC but nothing too mainstream, nothing as big as Halo 5. We had Halo: Spartan Assault, Spartan Strike. And we also know about Halo Wars 2 coming to Windows 10 next year.

I doubt MS will lose its big time Xbox exclusive, but we have seen efforts to bring Windows and Xbox closer together. So like Frank O’Connor said, Halo 5 is very much possible on PC.

For now, Halo 5 is exclusive to Xbox One and will release on October 27.
