The Disappearing Act of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
The next iteration of Ubisoft’s long running, yearly Assassin’s Creed franchise is finally out. While Assassin’s Creed Syndicate may be receiving glowing reviews from everyone, it seems like that some of the technical issues that plagued last year’s Assassin’s Creed Unity still persist in the new game.
During the early hours of the game, players encounter a new friendly character named Agnes MacBean who owns a train by the name of Bertha. So what seems to be the issue here? Well when the players meet her for the first time, the camera sort of unlocks and pans away from the scene sometimes while the player’s character disappears leaving a floating gun behind, making it seem as if Agnes is talking to thin air.
Whether this issue persists on all platforms or not isn’t clear but I did encounter it on the PS4 version of the game, after applying the released game updates. The issue however seemed to be resolved after restarting the game.
