Star Wars Battlefront, Need for Speed up for Play First on EA Access
Good news for everyone who has subscribed to EA Access; Electronic Arts is letting you reap the benefits of paying those five bucks every month. Star Wars Battlefront and Need for Speed both are going to be available to you for playing earlier than anyone else gets their hands on them!
Through the Play First feature of the subscription, both these games will be made available about five days before their international release dates.
Star Wars Battlefront is slated for release on November 17, 2015 but with your EA Access subscription you get to start playing it as early as November 12, 2015. Similarly, Need for Speed will be unlocked for you on October 29, 2015 although it releases worldwide on November 3, 2015.
There have been other games that Electronic Arts added to the Play First offers for example NBA Live 16, NHL 16, Madden NFL 16, Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, and even FIFA 16!
This is a full product early access meaning that nothing in the game will stay barred for you if you have the subscription.
EA Access is a pretty cool offering but it is limited to Xbox One alone; apparently, Electronic Arts doesn’t care about getting the service on PlayStation 4 which has a comparatively larger user base.
Wouldn’t it be nice if the PlayStation 4 users were also able to try out Star Wars Battlefront and Need for Speed almost a week before the games actually released?
