Phil Spencer Discusses Sunset OverDrive 2, Backwards Compatibility and More

By   /   Oct 20, 2015
Sunset Overdrive 2

Sunset Overdrive was released back in 2014 as an Xbox One exclusive. The game was a fun, colorful shooter from Insomniac Games. It was liked by many, but it wasn’t really as big of a financial success as Microsoft and Insomniac would have hoped for.

So Insomniac or Microsoft may not be too enthusiastic about working on Sunset OverDrive 2. However, Phil Spencer isn’t ruling about the possibility of it happening in the future.

Spencer also talked about Project Gotham Racing 3 on Xbox One via Backwards compatibility. According to him, licensing is an issue as they have to be redone for Xbox One.

Project Gotham Racing will be a nice addition to Backwards Compatibility, don’t you think? Also, what are your thoughts on Sunset Overdrive 2?
