Rise of the Tomb Raider Trailer Shows Holy Fire Card Pack With Chickens as Bombs

By   /   1 year ago

GameStop released a new trailer for Crystal Dynamic’s Rise of the Tomb Raider which shows some of the new cards in the bonus Holy Fire Card Pack.

This card pack is a part of the pre-order bonuses for the game, which also contain a special costume called the Apex Predator suit, and a powerful magnum in the form of the Venom Hand Cannon.

The focus of the video isn’t on either one of those two, but on the individual card packs themselves. These weird cards come with all sorts of perks, such as rare loot from enemies, a ‘Holy Fire’ that erupts and does AoE damage whenever you perform kills, and a special hilarious game mechanic that is worth mentioning on its own.

Yeah, you get to use chickens as bombs in one of the cards packs. Called the ‘Chicken Bomb’ card pack, it allows Lara to throw chickens that explode like bombs. How fun is that?!

Of course, with all that, you also get to see some gorgeous visuals and gameplay, which is always a welcome. Rise of the Tomb Raider will arrive as a timed Xbox exclusive on November 10 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The PC and PS4 versions are expected to arrive sometime next year.
