Used Exploits to Earn Money in The Witcher 3? Time to Pay Your Taxes
Well, if you used any sort of exploits to earn money or goods in The Witcher 3, it is time to pay your taxes. CD Projekt RED had once again amazed us with the way they have handled economy exploiters.
The developers are sending a tax collector after Geralt of Rivia in Hearts of Stone. The tax collector approaches Geralt during a main mission of Hearts of Stone.
The collector will ask you a couple of questions:
Have you at any time engaged in the wholesale trade of rawhide in the White Orchard area?
During the current fiscal year, have you engaged in the acquisition of bivalves with the express intention of selling the pearls therein?
You can admit to these crimes and pay a fine or or deny any wrongdoing. However, judging by the video posted above, it looks like the collector knows the truth so if have exploited the game and deny it, you may still have to pay the fine.
The Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It can be downloaded from PlayStation Stone, Steam or Xbox Store.
Were you exploiting the game?
