Report: Wii U Emulator is in Development

Nintendo Wii U

Wii U isn’t the most successful console developed by Nintendo, and since its release, it has struggled to maintain market share. This is the reason why Nintendo has already started to develop its new gaming platform, that will presumably hit shelves in 2016.

However, a developer has started to work on an emulator for Wii U, they may keep the legacy of Nintendo’s console alive for a long time. According to reports, the project is still at early stages and it will be some time before we are able to see any results.

This is certainly good news for PC gamers who are also fans of Wii U games. Hopefully, it won’t be long before we’ll get to play some Wii U games on PC. If you would like to know more about the project, visit this Reddit thread.

If I’m not wrong, Nintendo won’t be very supportive of the project and may even try to put an end to it. Would you like to see Wii U emulator?
