Second Street Fighter 5 Beta Set To Begin October 22nd, Has Increased Player Limit

By   /   Oct 7, 2015

There may still be a while till the release of Street Fighter 5, but Capcom is definitely hard at work and want players to help them shape the experience which is exactly why they have now announced another closed beta test scheduled for this month from October 22nd to October 25th.

The second Street Fighter 5 beta will now support 100,000 users instead of the 10,000 from the previous beta event, which is a massive increase in number. The new beta will also allow PC players to test out cross platform play with PS4 testers, although PC users will only be able to play on the last two days of the beta and that too only if they pre ordered the game.

Players who had access to the previous Street Fighter 5 beta will automatically be included in the new one so they don’t have to worry about their spot. Beta keys for PC users who pre ordered are being sent out in waves (if they pre ordered from other sites instead of Steam)

The closed beta will have Ken, Necalli, Vega, Karin Kanzuki, Rashid and Rainbow Mika as playable characters.

Owners of the PS4 version of Ultra Street Fighter 4 will also be awarded a Horror Costume Strong Arm Pack in USF4 if they log in for two or more days in the SF5 beta.
