Wildstar Consoles Versions Aren’t Entirely Out of Question: Carbine Studios

By   /   Oct 3, 2015

The console versions – Xbox One and Playstation 4 – of Wildstar are not completely out of question, Carbine Studios’ has stated in a recent interview.

During an interview with GameSpot; the game’s Product Director, Mike Donatelli, stated that the developer has not completely ruled out the possibility of Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions.

We have seen many MMOs who have made that transition to console being successful. So I think it would be safe to say, without saying too much, that, for any successful MMO who is looking to expand their business, looking at the console seems to make a lot of sense.

It has also been reported that Carbine Studios’ initially considered a console version back in 2013, but at that time, decided to put their entire focus on the PC version.

With games like Neverwinter on Xbox One, it will not come as a surprise if Wildstar eventually lands on consoles.
