Capcom have today revealed what players of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be getting in their free DLC for October. This includes weapons, armour and other equipment to aid you in your game.

For people who haven’t downloaded previous available free DLC they will still be able to download content from March, April, May, June, July, August and September.

This month’s DLC includes:

  • 12 New quests (including 2 New Arena challenges)
  • 5 New weapon
  • 1 New complete armor set (GX Hunter)
  • 4 New Unique armor pieces
  • 1 New Palico equipment set (Melodic set)
  • 1 Bonus Palico: Oliver
  • 1 Guild Card background
  • 8 Guild Card titles

This is the penultimate piece of free downloadable content, with the last piece coming November 6.

To get this content first you have to connect your Nintendo 3DS to the internet, load up Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Go to the DLC menu, then download all the content waiting for you. It should be that simple, with the downloads then being available in your game.

Looking at what comes in this latest update, obviously the GX Hunter armour is going to be the most popular having finally arrived. The fact that next months is going to be the final set of freebies though, will they end with something big?

In Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate players are given the role as a hunter who much explore the land, taking on a variety of creatures waiting to be discovered. Taking on these creatures lead to the retrieval of resources that can then be used to creature weapons and equipment.
