Rise of the Tomb Raider will Take 40 Hours to Fully Complete
As we move closer to the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider one of the questions we obviously want answering is how long will the game be? Looks like we may have a hint as to how much time we’ll be investing in it.
While talking to PixelVulture Crystal Dynamics’ Lead Designer Mike Brinker was asked how big the game is, to which he replied:
“Expect to spend around 30 -40 hours getting everything done. This is gathering every weapons, ability and completing every side quest. It all comes down to how you want to play through the game. Running through the game will take you around 15 – 20 hours. So expect double the play time collecting everything and exploring every secret tomb. In terms of scale, all our hub spaces, the areas that allow you to explore and choose your own way to play, have been increased by three time the size. So there will be lots more to see and do in each area of the game too. We have more challenge tombs, crypts, caves, and a bunch of extra things to do like the side missions for the Remnant people, and the tomb guardians.”
So if you are going to be juggling time between this and other games like Fallout 4 don’t expect this to be the quick one. While the story mode may last you 20 hours, the amount of play still to be done to get the 100% completion for the game, and it’s still going to take plenty of time. It looks like November is going to be a busy month for gamers.
