Street Fighter 5 Producer Talks Exclusivity, Framerates, DLC and More
Street Fighter 5 is coming out way next year and there are many questions that fans have about the release. In a new interview with Producer Matt Dahlgren at the Tokyo Game Show, we managed to learn many details about the game.
While talking to DualShockers in the interview you can see here they covered things ranging from exclusivity, platform parity, controllers, E-Sports and many other things. It’s well worth a watch if you are a fan wanting to know more about the release.
One thing that was once again stated was the fact that Street Fighter 5 will be a lifetime exclusive for PlayStation 4 on consoles. This is the one fact that Xbox One fans would like to change so that they can get their hands on it. If PC to Xbox streaming every became enabled, maybe this would be a way to get to play the game. That is obviously something for future thought.
What is nice to see from Capcom is the way that they are opening up the game to not only be for the experienced players but also beginners who are looking for a way to start playing the game. Dahlgren talks at length about how this has been managed and it all seems like a positive move to grow the community around the game, especially with the exclusivity restricting that.
Another issue brought up is the way the PC version and the Playstation 4 will interact, especially with framerates, controllers and overall performance. With the two platforms being so different it will be interesting to see how they co-exist together, especially when it comes to professional games too and e-sports.
