Rise of the Tomb Raider Size, Length, New Ability Discussed
One small downside in Rise of the Tomb Raider was reported recently that suggests the game’s cutscenes do not run at 1080p, however, there are numerous other things that make it good.
Mike Brinker, the game’s lead designer was recently talking about some of those things like the size of the game, the length, new abilities and so on.
When inquired about the length of the game, Brinker revealed that getting everything done will take about 40 hours but you will at least need 20 hours to just run through to the end:
Expect to spend around 30 – 40 hours getting everything done. This is gathering every weapons, ability and completing every side quest. It all comes down to how you want to play through the game. Running through the game will take you around 15 – 20 hours. So expect double the play time collecting everything and exploring every secret tomb.
That is not all, he says that size wise, things have been increased three times in Rise of the Tomb Raider as compared to their expanse in the previous titles.
Talking of something he loves among new abilities of Lara, he said “there are so many of them, but so far Lara’s ability to take her Bow Rope and tether it to objects and take objects and tether them together really adds a new depth to puzzles and combat.”
