Happy Home Designer Village Homes Design, Decoration, Construction

This step-by-step guide details everything that you need to know about decorating interior and exterior of any building.

Selecting a Villager
The first thing that you need to do is to head out of Nook’s Homes and find a villager who wishes to have his house built.

Selecting Plot, Season, and a House Plan
After you have talked to the villager and listened to his demands, you will be asked to choose a plot and season. After this, you will be asked to select a house plan.

A house plan is basically the number of the rooms that you want and things like orientation of the house. The one-room plan includes 6×6, 8×6, and 12×4 while the two-room plans include one 6×6 and one 4×4 room.

Decorating Interior

By browsing through the menu, you will be able to select from a variety of decor options. You will be able to use the stylus or the analogue stick to drag an item, rotate it, and even trash it in the bottom-left of the screen.

This is not all! By pressing the L and R buttons, you will be able to create an identical copy of any furniture that you like.

Furthermore, you will also be able to customize your furniture’s color according to your preference. To do so, drag an item into the Tool Box on the screen and choose anything you want – not applicable on everything.

Moreover, if you are not happy with the final results of your build, you will have the freedom of continuing or scrapping the entire project.

Everything stated above also holds true for public facilities such as restaurants, schools, hospitals, department stores, and more.

However, do bear in mind that while designing these facilities, you will not be able to decorate the outside yard, but will have to design a larger area as compared to villager homes.
