Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Hype Starts with Current Event News and the Unmarked Man
The build up to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 seems to be picking up speed. Today we may be learning some new details of the Campaign mode for the game, in the form of some interesting tweets.
The Twitter event started when the official Call of Duty Twitter account became a news like service “Current Event News” and started to follow a fictional event in Singapore, this includes two images you can see below. Currently the account is still posting updates of the situation.
To add a more sinister edge to this though is the fact that the “Unmarked Man” has also made a return to question just what is going on as these events take place. Posting details about the techniques being used and raising some interesting questions over the actions of the military forces. The question is who do we trust?

What makes this Twitter “event” interesting is the fact that the game is coming out November 6, so with little over a month to go till the release this is the perfect time to start hyping the release. With the campaign mode being the one part of the game that hasn’t really been looked at in focus, it looks like now we are getting some hints as to what we are to expect.
What we are seeing is a grim look into the future with military control, drones controlling what we are allowed to see, and the press releasing a form of the truth that appears to be military controlled. Of course we have the “Unmarked Man” to add the conspiracy to the plot and to reveal the truth, or of course his version of the truth.
Where will these Current Event News posts lead to? Could be details on the Campaign mode, maybe even a trailer. Keep your eyes on this one to see where it goes.
