Some new details regarding Persona 5 has been shared by Famitsu. It has been mentioned that the story of Persona 5 will take a more episodic approach, which seems to be all the rage lately.

In Persona series, this type of format was introduced in Persona 4, and it works well for the game overall as it deals with the noted pacing issues with Persona 3.

We were also told that Persona 5 story is about the mystery behind “IsekaiNabi,” a mobile application for “Parallel World Navigation.”

The app will let main characters travel between worlds in pursuit of their objectives. Players will travel to a world called “Palace” to steal the hearts of “Rotten People.” There are alternate dimensions in the “Palace,” where players will experience paranormal events.

Developers have improved character building as they are going for a more intimate characterization. Director Katsura Hashino has confirmed that social interactions are returning in some way, but no details are provided for the time being. However, we do know that the texting system is back for persona 5.

We will let you know as soon as more details are shared about the game. Persona 5 will release in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
