Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8

Aqua will enter a world of darkness in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage, according to details extracted from Famitsu Magazine.

The story will continue from a secret episode from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix. The game will release only on PlayStation 4, with no plans of a PS3 version of it.

When asked about the lack of PS3 version of Kingdom Hearts 0.2, Tetsuya Nomura revealed that it is due to Kingdom Hearts 3 technology being used in 0.2.

That clears it up.

In other Kingdom Hearts news, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue’s bizarre title was explained recently by Tetsuya Nomura:

This Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance compilation follows the previously HD work 2.5…and is worthy as taking its place as 2.6.

He added:

Because Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep is 0.1, this is how the 0.2 came to be put in the latest Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep. Thus, the 2.8 number appears from 2.6 plus 0 plus 0.2.
