New Gameplay Trailer for WWE 2K16 Shows Terminator’s Ring Entrance

By   /   Sep 21, 2015

Today 2K have released an impressive gameplay trailer for WWE 2K16. While the game may have some strange roster omissions the trailer still shows off some of the impressive cast of characters.

With a focus on Stone Cold Steve Austin we see some classic moments from his career recreated. This includes feuds with The Rock, Undertaker, Vince McMahon and the many faces of Mick Foley. Fans of NXT will also enjoy the inclusion of wrestlers such as Finn Balor and Kevin Owens, who also feature in the trailer with Owens showing off some of his impressive moves.

Be sure to watch to the very end, as you’ll get to see Arnold Schwarzenegger make his way to the ring as the Terminator. Interestingly enough the trailer appears to show two versions of the character, so maybe we’ll see first film’s version go up against the second’s. This character will only be available if you pre-order the game though, in the usual round of incentives to get people to buy the game early.

While the trailer is impressive what we really need to see from WWE 2K16 is for some real improvements to the gameplay. While WWE 2K15 promised a lot, and it may have done that graphically, it didn’t offer much in terms of innovative gameplay. There are signs that this may be changing, but we’ll have to see just what the final version of WWE 2K16 offers when it is finally released. With an impressive cast there is a lot of promise, it just has to deliver.

Does the trailer make you want to pre-order WWE 2K16? What do you think of the Terminator in the ring? Let us know your thoughts below.
