2nd Gameplay Video Revealed for Attack on Titan
We’ve already shown 8 minutes of footage from Attack on Titan, but today a second video has been released showing even more. Taken from the Tokyo Game Show event we see the main protagonist Eren Yeager in action.
One of the most fun aspects of the gameplay has to be the way the characters move through the streets. Flying with the aid of wires, this gives the characters in the game more of a chance against their enemies, the giant people with a taste for human flesh.
The creatures that you do battle against are definitely creepy, just as they are in the anime and new movies that have been released. In the gameplay we see what happens when the creatures manage to grab you. Thankfully you don’t get killed straight away, but have a chance to damage the creature and escape. If you are unsuccessful though expect a death with plenty of gore.
Attack on Titan will be released on Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita. Published by Koei Tecmo and developed by Omega Force, it is looking at a winter release in Japan. The release in the west is expected to come sometime in 2016, but this date hasn’t been announced yet.
In the game you’ll not only control Yeager, but also have the chance to play as Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Jean Kirstein, Connie Springer, and Sasha Blouse. The offline campaign will be single player only, with up to four players able to play through online multiplayer.
As you can see in the new video, the game looks a lot of fun. I’m sure Attack on Titan fans in the West will be eager to get their hands on this one as soon as possible.
