Splatoon

According to some newly surfaced images, Splatoon may be getting an update with tons of new content.

From what we’ve learned so far, the Octolings which are a counter-part to the Squidlings will become a playable species in the game.

Players will be able to transform Squidlings into a kraken during the Main Campaign and Online Multiplayer. In addition to this, the Squidlings will also have some special abilities similar to Octolings. You can check out the images below:

This is not all! We’re also hearing reports that Splatoon may be getting new amiibo figures for an Octoling, Callie, and Marie.

Currently, there is no official confirmation from Nintendo, but we do know that a Splatoon content update is scheduled to go live on Sept. 9, 2015. Hopefully, we will see these features being added to the game.

Splatoon is currently only available on Nintendo Wii U.
