Destiny: The Taken King Hadium Flakes Farming Guide
How and where to farm Hadium Flakes in Destiny: The Taken King to complete ‘A Broken Will’ and get 3 Legendary Swords.
Destiny: The Taken King Hadium Flakes Farming
Hadium Flake is a new element in the game which is required to complete ‘A Broken Will’ from Eris Morn. This element is only found in chests – 1 Hadium Flake in a chest – in some specific areas.
But since we’re talking about Destiny, you can farm them as much as you want. You only need 25 Hadium Flakes to complete ‘A Broken Will’ which will reward you with 3 Legendary Swords.
Hull Breach Farming
Firstly, you need to go to Orbit and select level-35 patrol which will carry you to Hull Breach. Once there, head to the center of the area where there is a crashed spacecraft.
You need to search the area below the spacecraft and find a ravine there. Continue along the ravine and you’ll come to an area called the Mausoleum where the farming begins.
Once you’re in the new area, loop around the entire area in clockwise direction; entering every room and opening up every chest inside.
Since there is only 1 Hadium Flake inside a chest, you need to open up at least 25 to get the 3 Legendary Swords.
Don’t worry if you run out of chests, looping around the area will make them spawn infinitely. You can also leave the area and return later.
Farming 25 Hadium Flakes should take about 8 to 10 minutes at most, but then again what’s Destiny without a little grinding.
Once you reach the Mausoleum via Hull Breach, you need to reach the area’s backside and find a cave walkway. In there, you’ll see a green-lit bronze chest with Hadium Flake inside.
After gathering the Hadium Flake, you need to run around the area until you see ‘The Founts’ written at the bottom of your screen and do the run again.
Lastly, note that the chest will not spawn if there are multiple players farming the Hadium Flakes.
I sense that Bungie is going to patch the entire thing really soon so get to it while you can.
