Dark Souls 3 US, EU Release is in April; New Gameplay Inside

By   /   Sep 17, 2015

We reported a couple of days ago on the Japanese release date confirmation of Dark Souls 3 – the game releases in Japan on March 24, 2016. However, unlike what we expected before this, the game is going to release in the west on a later date.

It has been confirmed by Bandai Namco that the action RPG will be released to North America, Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Australasia in April 2016. Although even this is not a specific release date, it does clarify that the western release is being held back for after Japanese launch.

However, stress testing for the game is going to be started much sooner. The areas that Dark Souls 3 will be tested for are game server load evaluation, multiplayer gameplay evaluation and game balance evaluation.
