Minecraft Story Mode Confirmed for October 13 on PS4, PS3
Good news for the Minecraft fans, Telltale Games has announced that Minecraft Story Mode will be launching on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on October 13 – yes less than a month from now!
The Creative Communications Manager at Telltale Games Laura Perusco took to the official PlayStation Blog with the announcement post today:
We can announce today that you’ll be able to get your hands on the season premiere of Minecraft: Story Mode next month! Episode 1 — The Order of the Stone will debut digitally for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on Tuesday, October 13th, and at retail on Tuesday, October 27th.
The developers have also confirmed that you will be able to purchase each episode of the Minecraft Story Mode separately from the PlayStation Store – or you could just purchase the season pass which includes episodes one to five.
Story Mode is also going to be launched on PlayStation Vita but for that the developers have promised more details on a later date.
Developers boast of the game’s size and variety of experience by teasing that Minecraft Story Mode is going to take you “across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond.”
In order to put your worries to ease, Telltale Games also promises that they have done their best to maintain the same feeling that Mojang made in the original game and mixed it with their own conventional gameplay style.
