Where and how to find Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Swords, be it Void Edge, Sol Edge or Arc Edge.

While playing the game’s newest expansion, you may’ve noticed people running around with Legendary Swords; which aren’t hard to acquire. This guide covers everything you need to know about acquiring these Legendary Swords.

How to Get Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Swords

The first thing that you need to do is to complete ‘A Broken Will’ mission acquired from Eris Morn – here’s everything you need to know:

How to Unlock A Broken Will
To do this, you need to complete all Main Story Missions in the game and acquire Dread Patrol from Cayde-6 in the Hall of Guardians.

Once you’ve completed Dread Patrol, you need to head over to the Tower and speak with Eris Morn who will provide you with A Broken Will which will net you the Void Edge, Sol Edge or Arc Edge sword.

How to Complete A Broken Will
To complete it, you’ll be required to gather 10 Motes of Light and 25 Hadium Flakes. To gather Hadium Flakes, you need to go to Orbit and select Level-35 patrol.

Once you arrive in the Hull Breach, head over to the middle of the area towards a crashed spacecraft and find a ravine below it. Continue along the ravine and you’ll come across an area called the Mausoleum – to farm Hadium Flakes.

You need to roam around the area in the clockwise direction and enter each room while opening chests to find Hadium Flakes inside. Since one chest contains only one Hadium Flakes, you’ll have to open up at least 25.

Looping around the area will cause chests to respawn or you can always leave the area and come back again.

Once you’ve acquired all required material, head back to Tower and speak with Shaxx to acquire one of 3 Legendary Swords – these have their own requirements which are:

  • Arc Edge – 25 Spinmetal
  • Sol Edge – 25 Helium Filaments
  • Void Edge – 25 Relic Iron

Choose the one you want and there you go!

This is pretty much all we’ve on Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Swords. If there is something else that you’d like to know, make sure to let us know in the comments section below!
