FIFA 16 Gets 16 Brazilian League Teams; Santos, Sao Paulo, Internacional and More
Good news for the Brazil league football fans who are going to pick up FIFA 16! EA Sports has finally managed to pull in as many as 16 league teams in the game.
Previously it was reported that Konami was pushing hard to get Brazilian league teams in Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 (PES 2016) which had led problems for Electronic Arts while trying to secure the licenses.
All that is done and dusted now; and you will be able to get your hands on some of the most famous teams from the country when and where you want.
Jonathan Harris, the Brazil Manager for Electronic Arts says:
We have worked to create the best possible experience for FIFA fans in Brazil and around the world to include Brazilian teams. We know FIFA fans love playing with Brazilian players and teams across the game, so adding 16 clubs is positive news for all fans.
As far as the playable teams are concerned, you will be able to get your hands on them from the Rest of the World menu and they will be available in most of the game modes of FIFA 16. Their athletes will also be available in the transfer database of Career Mode as well as the FIFA Ultimate Team.
You can choose from Atlético-MG, Atlético-PR, Avaí, Coritiba, Chapecoense, Cruzeiro, Figueirense, Fluminense, Grêmio, Internacional, Joinville, Ponte Preta, Palmeiras, Santos, São Paulo, and Vasco da Gama.
FIFA 16 hits the shelves on September 22, 2015.
