Halo 5: Guardians’ Campaign Has Replay Value Thanks to Co-Op

Halo 5

Halo 5: Guardians is just around the corner, little over a month to go before we see what’s next for Master Chief. Multiplayer, as always, looks great but Halo 5’s campaign is nothing short of impressive as well.

The idea is great, Master Chief on the run and being hunted for treason, there is a lot of mystery being created around the story and characters.

Also, for the first time ever Halo will feature a co-op campaign. Meaning you can jump-into the story mode with your friends on your side. Addition of co-op will make Halo 5’s campaign much more enjoyable, but it will also offer players replay value.

According to 343i, users will experience subtle story changes when they play the game with a different character, with a different perspective:

We think that the ability to go in and play as other characters when joining your friends gives the campaign [some] nice replay value. There are subtle differences to the narrative that you’ll experience from those other perspectives, and so we think that’s a nice incentive as well

Also, speaking about the story 343i said that it is the biggest story Halo has ever told:

It’s the biggest story we’ve ever told in Halo; it’s galactic in scale. We’ll take you across multiple worlds in the Halo galaxy, and as we tell it, we’ll also introduce a number of characters — new characters that have never [been] in the series before, as well as familiar faces returning for Halo 5

Halo 5 comes out on October 27 for Xbox One.
