With Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection coming to Playstation 4 it acts as the perfect way to prepare for the fourth game’s release in March 2016. Sony have now revealed a new bundle to entice fans who don’t have the current generation console to buy one.

Featuring the 500GB Playstation 4, this is one drawback to the bundle, but other than that it does look a good deal. With a release on October 9, the same day as the collection it is the perfect way for people who haven’t purchased the console yet to take the dive.

What makes this a good deal in terms of games is the fact that the pack will come with the three original Uncharted games updated for the Playstation 4. It’s sure to catch the eyes of anybody looking to upgrade in time for the Nathan Drake frenzy to begin. As mentioned though 500GB in terms of storage space is slightly worrying and it’s a shame that the 1TB version hasn’t been included instead.

While it’s not hard to upgrade storage to allow for more games to be installed, I’m sure fans won’t want to be having to put out extra cash so soon after paying so much for the console itself. When Playstation revealed the bundle, they also priced it at $399.99 USD.

Whether fans of the games will be bothered about the Playstation 4 not being the 1TB version or not, the fact is it still looks like a good release. There is no special design on the console itself which seems like a bit of a missed opportunity, especially as this is a celebration of the Uncharted games, but this is a small detail when playing the games.
