Konami Has Announced Over 20 Brazilian Teams for PES 16

Pro Evolution Soccer 16 is just weeks away from release and is all set to give some solid competition to rival FIFA. The game is being developed by Konami using the highly touted Fox Engine. The same system was used to create the newly released Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

From what we have seen so far, PES 16 looks incredible and to add to the hype, Konami has shared a list of over 20 Brazilian teams that’ll appear in the game.

Thanks to an agreement between Konami and Brazilian officials, players will be able to take control of their favorite players from the region and support their team.

Here’s the full list of teams to be added from Brazil:

Campeonato Brasileiro Série A:

  • Fluminense
  • São Paulo FC
  • Sport
  • Atlético Paranaense
  • Chapecoense

Série B:

  • Bahia
  • Vitória
  • Botafogo
  • Criciúma

PES 16 will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game was last shown at Gamescom 2015 where we saw plenty gameplay aspects and amazing visuals.
