Konami Congratulates Kojima on The Phantom Pain Success
After all that negativity that surrounded the squabble between Konami and Kojima, and the resultant alienation of the veteran game developer even from the mainstream media of Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain, Konami is finally doing something that will please the fans.
We all know that Metal Gear Solid 5 released today and it has not disappointed, so Konami took to their official Twitter profile with something almost surprising, a well thought out thank you to Kojima-san alongside the rest of the team that has been involved in the development.
Congratulations Hideo Kojima, Ken-ichiro Imaizumi, development teams & Konami staff in Japan, UK/EU & LA. It’s an amazing game.
However, this is not the best part; the best part is the picture that they attached with it showing Hideo Kojima in the middle with two replicas of Snake’s bionic arm on the right and a poster of Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain on the left.
Oh and if you look closely, the poster reads “A Hideo Kojima Game” clearly.

So yeah, it will surprise some but I am sure Konami has finally done something that fans of the game as well as Kojima are going to applaud.
Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain released today and we are absolutely loving it.
