Tabata Reaffirms 2016 Release Date for Final Fantasy XV; More to Come in March

Final Fantasy XV is going to release in 2016, the game director Hajime Tabata has reaffirmed.

Tabata made the announcement over the weekend at PAX Seattle where he didn’t share many details, he said more details will be shared at a ‘special event’ to be held in March 2016.

This is the second time Tabata has reassured fans that Final Fantasy XV is going to launch in 2016; his previous statement date back to Gamescom 2015.

We have also learned that the game is currently undergoing many changes including AI behaviour and camera. According to Tabata, these systems are about 30 to 80 per cent complete.

Final Fantasy XV is going to release worldwide on both Xbox One and Playstation 4, but we need to wait until March 2016 to find out the exact release date.
