Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will mark the end of an era and it will mark the end of a masterpiece franchise from Hideo Kojima. The game is hours away from release and is heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and last-gen consoles.

Kojima has asked us to enjoy this last entry and says he has no regrets at all. Kojima is proud of his creation and he sure has kept us waiting, hah?

Metal Gear began decades ago and being a fan of the series, it is really hard seeing Snake say goodbye. However, as you all know that Kojima is leaving Konami soon; While that is disappointing, we can sure expect Kojima to bring us something fresh and amazing in his next project, whatever it may be.

We recently reviewed The Phantom Pain and gave it an impressive 9.8 out of 10. Our reviewer Omar Majeed wrote: “Turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks, and this trick just redefined the whole franchise.”
