Madden NFL 16 MUT Offensive Builds

In MUT, you can either go head-to-head against a human player or AI-controlled teams in Solo Challenges.

This guide is designed to provide some of the Offensive Builds for different playstyles. However, do note that these builds are only meant as an outline and you can add or subtract anything to create your unique builds.

Team Build #1

This build is suitable for players who love a power running attack. You need to focus on building a strong offensive line-up with decent run blocking.

Choose an HB having decent trucking and elusiveness and utilize the skills to break the tackles.

You need to cut down on turnovers in order to maximize your winning potential and build between-the-tackles run game. This is how you should upgrade the positions:

HB – TRK
TE – RBK
OL – STR
QB – THP
WR – CIT

Coming to playbooks, you need to go with something such as Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, or Houston Texans.

Recommended Cards
Elite – Aaron Rodgers and Le’veon Bell
Gold – Matt Ryan and Giovani Bernard
Silver – Tyrod Taylor and T, J, Yeldon

Team Build #2

This build is basically directed at players who love to run outside the tackles and are capable of making moves in the open field.

With this build, you will be able to break off some big runs which will leave your opponent frustrating. When going with this build, you should consider having your quarterback in the run game and find an HB who is able to catch out of the backfield and has an elusive style.

Here is how you should upgrade your positions:

HB – ELU
OL – IMP
QB – ACC
TE – STR
WR – RBK

Coming to playbooks, you should consider going with Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, or Minnesota Vikings.

Recommended Cards
Elite – Tom Brady and Adrian Peterson
Gold – Ryan Tannehill and Alfred Morris
Silver – Brock Osweiler and Ronnie Hillman

Team Build #3

This build basically revolves around short-pass and is directed to the players who wish to choose a balanced approach which is slightly in the favour of passing the ball.

One of the best things about this build is that you do not have to rely on the run game if you somehow throw quick routes of your backs and slot receiver.

One thing that you can do is to go with the open read as soon as it becomes available instead of waiting to go downfield. Moreover, try to limit your turnovers and keep the chains moving with some smart throws.

Here’s the positions upgrade order that you need to follow:

QB – SAC
WR – RTE
HB – CTH
TE – CIT
OL – PCK

Coming to playbooks, you need to go with Oakland Raiders, Detroit Lions, or Kansas City Chiefs.

Recommended Cards
Elite – Brian Hoyer and Jeff Janis
Gold – Cam Newton and Randall Cobb
Silver – Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown

Team Build #4

The final offensive build basically focuses on throwing the ball downfield and racking up points as quickly as possible in order to crush the opponents.

It is a high risk, high reward build due to turnovers, but once you get the hang of it, you will be making some big plays in no time.

All you need is a strong-armed quarterback and you will find yourself dominating the opponents. Here is the upgrade order of your positions:

QB – THP
WR – SPC
OL – PBK
TE – CIT
HB – PBK

Recommended Cards
Elite – Andrew Luck and T. Y. Hilton
Gold – Philip Rivers and Alshon Jeffery
Silver – Ryan Mallett and Nick Toon
