Divinity Original Sin 2 Kickstarter Raises $500K in 12 Hours!

Divinity Original SIn 2, the sequel to Larian Studios’ complex role playing game has sweeped a lot of the RPG fan off their feet; and it is evident by the utterly surprising pace at which the game’s Kickstarter got successfully funded.

The developers have updated their Kickstarter page where you can easily see that $591,976 have been raised although there still are 34 days to go in the campaign. Initial goal of Larian Studios was to raise $500K.

Fans of the original game would remember that it had taken 12 days to reach the first Kickstarter milestone for it whereas Divinity Original Sin 2 has managed that feat in just 12 hours!

This has motivated the developers, they say, and so they will be taking the game’s development as far as they can:

Where Divinity: Original Sin took 12 days to reach its funding goal, Divinity: Original Sin 2 was funded in less than 12 hours. Nobody at Larian, except Eric that is, could imagine that we would meet our goal so fast and now that we’ve reached this point, we’re incredibly motivated to take D:OS 2 as far as we can.
