Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is less than a week away from release in the UK, and fans are eager to get their hands on the game.

However, around 370 players who pre-ordered the title from retailer GAME, just got their pre-orders canceled. Each of them is blamed for a payment or delivery address problems. If you were one of them, there is nothing wrong at your side.

This is due to a technical error, which caused pre-orders for MGSV: The Phantom Pain to be cancelled. According to statement provided by GAME, users were “incorrectly charged” which resulted in cancellation.

Regrettably, due to a technical issue with our computer systems, 370 customers who pre-ordered the Metal Gear Solid V standard edition have had their orders incorrectly charged. Our customer service and store teams are currently working to contact all those impacted and refund any overpayment. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

This issue spreads to both standard and collector’s edition but GAME only mentioned the standard edition. Hopefully, things will be sorted out soon and users will get their money back or pre-orders get restored.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will release on September 1 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
