Pokken Tournament Announced for Wii U, Releasing in Spring 2016

By   /   Aug 21, 2015

Pokken Tournament is headed to Wii U in Spring 2016, Nintendo has announced.

The announcement was made during this year’s Pokemon World Champion which is held in Boston.

In addition to the announcement, a new fighter was also unveiled – Pikachu Libre. However, there was no mention as to whether the game will have rumored Amiibo Support or not – I would love to see it.

Developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Pokken Tournament is basically an arcade-based fighting game which is currently only available in the Japanese territories.

You can check out the entire announcement from the Pokemon World Championships in the featured video above!
