First Official MGS 5 The Phantom Pain Review is Here

The first official Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain review has been published by a magazine.

You might find it surprising but a French Magazine has already gone on and published the first official Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain review in their latest edition.

While the developers are currently sending out review copies, this will probably be the first review that you get to set your eyes on, and for that precise reason please ignore the bad online translations that we have for you.

That being said, JeuxVideo Magazine has awarded it 17 out of 20 stars based on four categories (see image below). For each one of them you can check out the translations that will at least give you an idea of what they found while performing The Phantom Pain review:

Gameplay – 4 out of 5 stars: Most user-friendly MGS, but also one that offers the greatest number of possibilities, even if some are non-essential.

Graphics – 4 out of 5 stars: They are rather clean in all, the game suffers anyway of its development on two generations of consoles. We saw more beautiful.

Sountrack – 4 out of 5 stars: The very convincing ambient melodies, and especially an incredible collection of pieces of the 80s.

Lifespan – 4 outs of 5 stars: The adventure sacrament is long (over 40 hours). But provoke weariness after a one moment.

Personally, I don’t understand why Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain review score is 17 since adding up these stars gives you 16 but hey, I am please either way.

Lastly, what do you think of some shortcomings mentioned up there?
