Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Beta Has a Day Zero Patch
It is not often that you see a development studio working so tirelessly that they work on a patch even for the beta testing phase of a game. Call of Duty Black Ops 3 beta is such an example and Treyarch are good guys!
David Vonderhaar, the design director for Treyarch Studios revealed a couple of hours ago that they were working on a patch for the beta.
Currently getting ready to patch. Yes, you heard correctly. We are patching a beta. Must exorcise the patch pipeline demons.
However, the urgency with which Treyarch Studios has jumped to patch even the beta might make you think that the build must be insanely bugged. Apparently, that is also not the case; there are some bugs, but you shouldn’t worry too much about them:
Nothing to worry about. It’s important to stress test all of our process and procedures. It’s a new platform for us.
Of course the beta going live also means that the embargo has been lifted and people in possession of the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 beta are free to stream as much as they want.
Last but not the least, if some of you are experiencing difficulty downloading the beta, Vonderhaar suggests that you first update your PlayStation 4 to the latest firmware and then try downloading.
Have you tried out the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 beta? What do you think of it?
