Nintendo Amiibo

Okay so we know that GameStop is going to get the Wave 5 of Amiibo figurines very soon, but now we have almost everything else that you need to know if you are going to try and grab some of them.

Nintendo is releasing four types of Amiibo on September 11 including Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, Olimar and – wait for it – the 8-Bit Classic Mario!

We have been tipped to the fact that you will not be able to pre-order Wave 5 Amiibo figurines, just the way it happened with part of Wave 4.

Instead, you will have to stand in the queue, monitored by a line management tool that GameStop is employing. Also, the management will be using door signs to let the customers know about the inventory at hand so that expectations can be managed.

You can say there will be 10 to 13 figures of each character at every store since the quantities are going to be very limited and because Nintendo is going to be shipping them to individual stores based on sales volume reached in previous waves.

Oh and it might be a long shot but you could also get your hands on an Amiibo figure from the official website of GameStop although the stocks being made available online will be very less.

We have reached out to GameStop for official details and will be updating this as soon as we get a reply.
