Scalebound Will Show the Potential and Power of Xbox One
Hideki Kamiya, the cofounder of Platinum Games and the creator of Scalebound has always been in the news, though this time it is for all the good reasons.
He was recently interviewed where the ideology behind the game as well as the progress of Platinum Games itself was discussed.
So firstly, Kamiya is boasting that with Scalebound he is going to try and show the world just how powerful the Xbox One can be – and even add to the value of the console in general.
In terms of, say, Scalebound, which is an exclusive title for Xbox One, my ultimate goal and mission is that this will help appeal to, and also heighten the value, of not just my game but also the console, and show the power of what Xbox One can do.
That is not all, if you check out the history of Platinum Games you will see that despite having been a studio that has made some really fan favorite titles, they have been issues with them.
When Kamiya was pushed to comment on the matter saying that it was surprising how the studio was still going and that people feared one day they would wake up to find out that they were no more. Kamiya’s reply was comical:
When you said that, I’m gonna wake up one morning and find out that Platinum is no more,’ that’s something that crosses my mind too!
Are you excited about Scalebound? How would you have liked it if the game had dinosaurs instead of dragons?
