Halo 5: Forge is Much Improved, More on it Later, Says Director
Halo 5 Guardians has a lot of expectations swirling around it even though the game is not yet ready for release. One of those expectations is regarding Forge, the game mode that allows customization of maps.
While 343 Industries is not willing to lift the veil on it completely just yet, they are ready to tell you that it is “significantly” better than what it used to be originally.
Although, if you were hoping to get more out of the developers, you will have to try “much later.” This was revealed by Frank O’Connor, the franchise development director.
While talking to some of the Halo 5 Guardians fans in a thread, he was asked about modification features for the Warzone; whether it can be changed to represent where enemies and allies should spawn using Forge and so on.
However, O’Connor didn’t reveal much.
We will talk about Forge much later. It is SIGNIFICANTLY improved, as opposed to iteratively [sic].
In my personal opinion, the significant improvements that 3434 Industries just boasted of should be worthy only if they help turning it into more of a map editor and not just cosmetic changes like swapping things around.
That being said, there isn’t much time in the release of Halo 5 Guardians so the “much later” part is not actually going to be too long now.
