Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 to have “Mute All Except Party” Option
With the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and the beta starting in the next few weeks players will be looking to see what features have been included to improve the game. One confirmed today should bring a smile to at least a few player’s faces.
Today on Twitter, Game Design Director at Treyarch has confirmed that “Mute all except Party” is now an option in multiplayer games. This announcement included a Vine showing the option on the menu screen.

Players will know, previously they have had to mute all players in the lobby every time they entered. Now just by selecting this new menu option all “randoms” in the lobby will automatically be muted. This should be welcome news to all players, and I’m sure they’ll be searching it out when the Beta begins.
It’ll be interesting to see what new options have also been added to make life easier for the players.
August 19 will see the first phase of the Beta, and this will be on Playstation 4 only as part of the new exclusivity deal. To be a part of this the main way to guarantee access is to pre-order the game. The first phase will be 5 days before Xbox One and Pc players will have their chance to get access to the game.
After all the testing is done, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released November 6 on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.
