Update: Larian Studios has officially announced the game.

Larian Studios is currently working on Divinity: Original Sin 2; sequel to a popular role-playing game which released last year on PC and then on consoles.

According to a NeoGAF thread; the studio decided to launch a campaign on Kickstarter which is going to begin from Aug. 26, 2015. In addition to this, Multiplayer Italia has also shared the game’s first artwork which can be seen below:

Divinity Original Sin II

The first prototype of Divinity: Original Sin 2 is expected to make an appearance at PAX Prime. Furthermore, the game is reportedly going to release on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.

Peronally, I’m very much inclined to believe it to be true since Larian Studios official Twitter account had recently teased a major announcement. The artwork alongside the tweet – that can be seen below – is exactly similar to the leaked artwork attached above!

We’re working on something BIG for you to get your claws into. Don’t worry, there’s more to be revealed very soon!

So are you looking forward to Divinity: Original Sin 2 and are going to fund it? Let us know in the comments section below!
